The idea behind Twiage came at a healthcare hackathon when an EMT and physician shared each other's frustration regarding the chaotic state of pre-hospital communication and the lack of preparation from hospitals for EMS arrivals. They saw the immense opportunity to solve a significant problem in critical care.
Over the years, our life-saving application has earned innovation awards and recognition from major healthcare organizations, such as the American Medical Association, American Heart Association, American College of Emergency Physicians, and Cleveland Clinic.
To date, we have powered hundreds of thousands of EMS transports and continue to innovate in mobile telemedicine and healthcare coordination.
